LU Dining Services to Host Delightful Week
Date(s): Monday, Feb. 12 through Friday, Feb. 16, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Location: Brook-Shivers Dining Hall
All week long, Dining Services plans on de-light-ing you. Every day there will be an activity in the LU Dining Hall during the lunch hours. Participants will earn an entry into the grand prize drawing. We will be giving away a $100 Amazon gift card and a pizza and movie bundle worth $60. Watch social media to see what @LamarDining is gifting the students each day as well.
Monday: Write a letter to a senior. We provide the cards and postage, and you provide the comforting words.
Tuesday: Delightful and Fat Tuesday collide. There will be an epic menu for lunch. Pick up a kindness card and give it to whomever you choose. We also have a very sweet thing planned for you that you don't want to miss.
Wednesday: Share a random act of kindness you have completed this week. We will provide special cards.
Thursday: Decorate a cookie and give it to a friend. While you are at it, do one for yourself as well.
Friday: Wrap up the week by helping us make dog toys for shelters in the area.
Help us spread some kindness not just this week, but all the time.

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy for Individuals with Dementia

Is someone you love living with a dementia diagnosis? The speech-language pathology clinic here at LU offers free cognitive stimulation therapy groups for individuals with dementia.
