Cognitive Stimulation Therapy for Individuals with Dementia

Is someone you love living with a dementia diagnosis? The speech-language pathology clinic here at LU offers free cognitive stimulation therapy groups for individuals with dementia. Groups meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. from March 18 to May 1. Call (40)9 880-8171 for prescreening and more information.

Cardinals Closet Opens March 18
Date: Monday, Mar. 18, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Location: Wesley Center at LU (next to Brooks-Shivers Dining Hall)
The Cardinals Closet is now open for students in need of clothing like shirts, pants, coats, and shoes. Patrons can earn points towards clothing items by volunteering at the Cardinals Closet or the Cardinals Pantry. Contact Health Education or the Wesley Center for more information.

LU is Out There: Celebrating International Scholarly and Creative Activity

-Navigate directly to the 9 Personal Information section at lamar.edu/updateinfo -Log in with your LEA username and password (same login for LU Email). -Review your contact details for accuracy. -To receive text alerts, be sure your cell phone number is listed and labeled as “Cell Phone.” If your cell phone is listed but labeled as anything other than “Cell Phone,” you will not receive text message alerts. -Be sure to update your Emergency Contact information as well. The Emergency Contact is someone the university would contact on your behalf in the event you experience an emergency while on campus. Now Hiring LU Full-time Staff as Auxiliary Crew Members
