Biology Seminar: Friends Don't Let Friends Introduce Invasive Species

Settling St. Malo with Randy Gonzales

Dr. Randy Gonzales (LSU-Lafayette) will read sections of his poetry and talk about the history and culture of the Filipino American community at St. Malo, Louisiana. His poetry collection Settling St. Malo won the 2024 Summerlee Book Prize from the Center for History and Culture.

Cardinal Closet Now Accepting Donations
We're accepting shirts, shoes, pants, dresses, coats, ties, and more for the Cardinal Closet. Any donated undergarments (socks, bras, underwear) must be new and in packaging, or with tags. Donation drop-off times are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through Oct. 31, 2024. Drop-offs can be made at the Wesley Center, behind the Brooks-Shivers Dining Hall.

Wellness Packs Available at Student Health Center
The Student Health Center has for students in need. The packs contain personal hygiene items like toothbrush and toothpaste, hair brush and comb, deodorant, face wash, shampoo, and more. If you'd like to keep a few wellness packs on hand, let us know. We're happy to help.
