Teaching

My teaching includes traditional Computer Engineering subjects such as Digital Logic Design and Computer Architecture as well as the Electrical Engineering areas of Image and Video Processing and Digital Control Engineering.

As Department Chair, I teach ELEN 4200 Electrical Engineering Seminar, which is our capstone soft skills course where we try to wrap things up for our seniors before they commence their careers or move on to graduate school.

After 30+ years of higher education, I am very much interested in the pedagogy of engineering education, particularly modern approaches to instruction to include computer mediated and adaptive learning techniques. I was the architect of the LUEE Digital eLearning Content Delivery System as well as our LUFF and Hardware-in-Homework programs.
