It will only be allowed for this particular program. Joe Nordgren questioned the minimum grade requirement of “D”, and Kakoli answered that that’s a standard requirement in College of Business.
James Nelson motioned to approve the course, and Mamta Singh seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
  • MKTG 4380: Like ECON 4370, this course is also only for BBA-MIS program. Kakoli explained the fact that these courses are being added to provide options for two separate tracks BBA_MIS, Business Analytics track and Enterprise Systems track, and these courses would be catering to these tracks.

  • MISY3321, 3341, 3350, 3360, 3390, 4340: Kakoli explained that all these were old courses on the catalog and had not been changed for over 20 years. They took this opportunity to revamp these courses and made it up-to-date. 4340 was offered as special topics for long time, and now they have separated it as Business Intelligence Course, while saved 4390 for Special topics. 4340 needs a minor change- it needs to be 3 credit hours. Michael Saar said that he would fix that.
