Accelerated Online Programs

Financial aid programs for our accelerated 5- and 8-week degree plans feature different application deadlines and disbursement schedules from our traditional financial aid programs.

Graduate

  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan

    This federal loan is not based on financial need, however we will determine the amount the you can borrow based on your cost of attendance and other financial assistance you are receiving.  You are responsible for paying the interest on this loan during all periods.  You must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the semester as well as meet eligibility requirements.

  • Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan

    You may apply for this loan to help pay for education expenses up to the Cost of Attendance minus all other financial assistance you are receiving.  You must have a completed FAFSA on file for eligibility to be determined for this loan.  You may apply for this loan at , please note that this loan is subject to a credit check of "adverse" credit history by the U.S. Department of Education.

  • Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant

    This program provides grants to students who are completing course work needed to begin a career teaching full-time in high-need subject areas for at least four years at schools that serve students from low-income families.  If you do not complete your service obligation the grant will be converted into an unsubsidized loan.

Undergraduate

  • Federal Pell Grant

    This grant is classified as need based.  Your eligibility depends on your financial need, your cost of attendance, your enrollment status, and your plans to attend school for a full academic year or less.

  • Federal Direct Subsidized Loan

    This is a federal loan available to students with financial need. We will determine the amount you can borrow based on your need.  The U.S. Department of Education pays the interest on this loan:

    1. while you are in school at least half time
    2. for the first six months after you leave school
    3. during a period of deferment

    You must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the semester as well as meet eligibility criteria to receive this loan.

    This federal loan is not based on financial need. We will determine the amount you can borrow based on your cost of attendance and other financial assistance you are receiving.  You are responsible for paying the interest on this loan during all periods.  You must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the semester as well as meet certain eligibility requirements.

    If you are a dependent student, your parent may be able to receive a loan to help pay for your education expenses as long as they meet certain eligibility requirements.  Your parent may apply for this loan at .
