At Home CMO Jennifer Warren to speak November 9
The ExxonMobil Executive in Residence Program presents Jennifer Warren, chief marketing officer of , the home décor superstore, to speak at the LU College of Business about her success at 12:30 p.m., November 9, in the Galloway Building, Landes Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
“Jennifer is a 91ÖÆƬ³§ graduate who has years of experience in the marketing industry. She can offer insight and advice on how to become a fantastic businessperson,” said Kayce Stutzman, marketing coordinator for the College of Business.
Warren previously held the position of Chief Marketing Officer for Radio Shack, where she was responsible for leading areas such as marketing, public relations and brand strategy.
Warren's prior experience includes development of marketing solutions for brands such as Samsung, Dell, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Cost Plus World Market, Southwest Airlines, Kinko’s, Dial, Zales, Marshall's and TJ Maxx. She also has agency background with entities such as Razorfish and T3.
“Students will have the chance to approach Jennifer and learn from our college’s successful alumna how to structure themselves for success after graduation,” Stutzman said.
Among Warren’s awards and honors are a National Advertising Federation Lifetime Hall of Achievement Award, an Ad Age's Woman to Watch Award and an Effie Award.
Warren is the final speaker in a series of 4 presentations for the College of Business this semester. Previous presenters were Helen Sharkey, a professional ethics speaker, Chad Briggs, LU Alumn and vice president of sales and technology at Air Liquide and Alex Banayan, world’s youngest venture capitalist.
