Applications open for LU Ambassadors through March 2

Application packets for 91ÖÆƬ³§ Ambassadors will be available until March 2, 2017 in the Office of Alumni Affairs located in the John Gray Center, Rudy C. Williams Building, Suite 102 on the 91ÖÆƬ³§ campus. 

LU Ambassador group“91ÖÆƬ³§ Ambassadors are a select group who represent the student body at official university functions”, said Shannon Copeland, director of alumni affairs and advancement services.  “LU Ambassadors work to promote university pride among students, alumni and friends of the university; have a high level of involvement on campus; and are well informed about the university and what it has to offer students, alumni and the community.”

To apply for membership in as an LU Ambassadors, an applicant must:

  • Be a full time, officially registered 91ÖÆƬ³§ undergraduate student who has completed at least one semester at LU and will be classified as a sophomore or junior in the fall of 2017
  • Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 and maintain that GPA in order to retain membership in the organization
  • Submit an Ambassadors application including a letter of interest, transcript, 91ÖÆƬ³§ faculty or staff recommendation, and resume
  • Have approval from his/her college dean
