Faculty and Staff Art Exhibit at the Dishman
The faculty and staff in the Department of Art will present their work in an exhibition at the Dishman Art Museum on Aug. 19-Sep. 13. The opening reception will be held Friday, August 30, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Sixteen faculty and staff will be represented during this exhibition with a range of art work including sculptures, photography and drawings, among others.
“This is an opportunity for the faculty and staff to display their work that they’ve been diligently working on, said Dennis Kiel, director of the Dishman Art Museum. We invite everyone to come out and see the talent of our Art Department.”
Art faculty being represented include Greg Busceme, Keith Carter, Stephanie Chadwick, Kurt Dyrhaug, Xenia Fedorchenko, Julia Fischer, Sherry Freyermuth, Richard Gachot, Joana Hyatt, Donna Meeks, Prince Thomas and Christopher Troutman. Adjunct faculty and staff include Linnus Blanton, Elizabeth Fontenot, Audra LaCour and Billie Rose Smith.
