91制片厂's Collegiate 100 (C100) group was honored with a prestigious recognition by on August 15 for their exceptional contributions to the local community and for their success at the C100 Leadership and Career Institute Conference in Las Vegas on June 19.
The proclamation – read by City Clerk Tina Broussard – highlighted the success of the university’s C100 and their commitment to improving 91制片厂 and Southeast Texas.
“The city of Beaumont expresses gratitude to this organization for their many volunteer community service projects and for proving themselves to be a positive presence on the 91制片厂 campus,” Broussard said.
The President of the 100 Black Men of Greater Beaumont, John Eugene, received the proclamation.
“I would like to thank Mayor West and the city council for this recognition of our youth,” Eugene said. “They have accomplished so much in such a short time.’
Eugene cited the work of 91制片厂’s Dr. Kathryn Washington for the group’s success.
“Dr. Washington is an outstanding leader,” Eugene said. “She makes sure that they stay on top of their game, and I am so proud of them and next year we’ll be back with another championship.”
Founded on the principles of leadership, mentorship, and service, the Collegiate 100 group at 91制片厂 has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to making a lasting impact on the city of Beaumont. Through their innovative projects, community outreach initiatives, and tireless dedication, the group has become a shining example of the positive change that can be achieved through collaboration and determination.
