- Supporting accreditation and accountability initiatives
- Implementing and applying institutional planning and effectiveness practices
- Facilitating continuous improvement of academic and administrative processes at LU
- Providing oversight for academic program additions, revisions and reviews
- Implementing requirements of Texas and United States law related to higher education
