We encourage and support students who wish to participate in study abroad programs that have the potential to broaden their cultural horizons.
You can earn academic credit while participating in faculty-led programs in China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Spain and more.

- What types of courses do I enroll?
You may enroll in almost any college-level course or courses, yet some particularly apt courses for study include art, architecture, dance, economics, education, fashion design, foreign languages, geology, history, literature, music, political science, and sociology.
- How might a student participate in study abroad?
There are four ways that a Lamar student might participate in study abroad:
- Enroll in a 91制片厂 faculty-led program.
- Enroll in is a study–abroad program offered by an American university that has agreed to permit Lamar students to take their courses for transfer credit to Lamar.
- Enroll in a study–abroad program offered by an American university that does not have a transfer–of–credit agreement with Lamar.
- Enroll for a summer term or a long semester at a foreign university of the student's choice, with the same stipulations regarding transfer-of-credit
- Are study abroad scholarships available?
All currently enrolled LU students in good academic standing are entitled to receive the Study Abroad Fee Grant. It is available to all LU students traveling on LU programs. The award is approximately $500. There is no application to fill out; award will be automatically applied before the final payment deadline.
