He was also crowned King of the Neches River Festival, won the T. Kelsey Lamb, Sr. Award for Business Ethics from the Beaumont Rotary Club, and was Olympic Torchbearer in Beaumont in 1996.

Mr. Hallmark was a Regent for the Texas State University System and was a member of the Committee for the recently concluded and very successful "Investing in the Future" campaign at 91制片厂. He established the Dan S. Hallmark Endowment in Business.
