Master of Engineering Management

The Master of Engineering Management is a non-thesis degree program that can be completed on campus or online. The degree teaches both management and advanced technical skills to prepare students for the job market. 

The MEM program is STEM-qualified for purposes of OPT USCIS regulations.

Degree Structure

Completion of a minimum of at least 30 hours of course work approved by the advisor from the College of Engineering, College of Business, Computer Science, and the College of Arts and Sciences. The same course can not be taken at the 5000 and 6000 level.

Each student develops their own degree plan to fit their professional goals assisted by faculty advisors.

Admission Requirements

Admission standards are designed to ensure that all enrolled students are qualified professionals serving in a leadership role in their engineering discipline. The primary requirements are as follows:

  1. B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, Chemistry, or Equivalent (Transcripts required).  
  2. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is optional and not required.
  3. For international students, English language requirements are set based on the latest University policy.
