From the north or east on I-10 or Highway 69 (Lake Charles, Lumberton, Silsbee)
- Take Exit 854 for MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. PARKWAY and head south (toward downtown Beaumont)
- Stay on MLK for approximately 4 miles
- Take the LAMAR UNIVERSITY/E. VIRGINIA AVE. exit to the right
- Turn right on E. LAVACA ST.
- Turn left on JIMMY SIMMONS BLVD. (formerly UNIVERSITY DR.)
- Turn right on E. VIRGINIA
- The Communication Building is on the left at the end of the street, across the road from Brook-Shivers Dining Hall
From the west on I-10 (Houston)
- Take I-10 east to Beaumont. Exit HIGHWAY 69/96 (Port Arthur exit).
- Continue down HIGHWAY 69/96; take the MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. PARKWAY exit.
- Turn left on MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. PARKWAY; pass under the overpass.
- Take the first exit off MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. PARKWAY. Continue through first stop sign; turn left at second stop sign onto E. LAVACA ST.
- Continue on E. LAVACA ST. to JIMMY SIMMONS BLVD. (formerly UNIVERSITY DR.), turn left onto JIMMY SIMMONS BLVD.
- Turn right on E. VIRGINIA
- The Communication Building is on the left at the end of the street, across the road from Brook-Shivers Dining Hall
From the south on Highways 69/96/287 (Port Arthur)
- Take Exit for TX-380/MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. PARKWAY/LAMAR UNIVERSITY
- At end of ramp turn RIGHT onto MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. PARKWAY
- Take the first exit off MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. PARKWAY. Continue through first stop sign; turn left at second stop sign onto E. LAVACA ST.
- Continue on E. LAVACA ST. to JIMMY SIMMONS BLVD. (formerly UNIVERSITY DR.), turn left onto JIMMY SIMMONS BLVD.
- Turn right on E. VIRGINIA
