An assessment of faculty strengths and interests, in combination with guidance from the Center's Industry Advisory Board, led to a Midstream Center focus on specific research areas, including:
Since our formation in September 2019, we have funded 39 internal midstream-centric applied research projects totaling $1.25 million.
The Midstream Center supports LU faculty by funding applied research grants important to the midstream industry.
Since September 2019, CMMS has funded 39 faculty research projects totaling $1.25 million.
LU's Midstream Center awarded 11 Summer 2021 Student Research Grants totaling $98,000.
The Pathfinder tool, developed in concert with LU’s Mary and John Gray Library as part of the CMMS Midstream Information Clearing House concept, enables a user to efficiently search for published research papers on virtually all midstream-centric topics at the click of a button.
A user will define search criteria and be rewarded with titles, abstracts, and links to the publisher of each listed paper where it can be obtained from the copyright owner. Instead of trying to identify, access, and search multiple scientific, subscription enabled databases to find midstream relevant research papers, a user can now access most published midstream work via a single portal.
Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI), in conjunction with 91制片厂’s Center for Midstream Management and Science (CMMS), developed the new PRCI Results Pathfinder. This research portal compliments CMMS' Midstream Information Pathfinder portal.
The PRCI Results Pathfinder enables users to search for reports on over 2,600 midstream-centric research projects funded by PRCI members and managed by PRCI since 1952. At the click of a button, a user can define search criteria and be rewarded with titles, abstracts, and links to listed reports where they can be purchased from PRCI.
