*Please note: Course work taken prior to 1995 may not appear on the computer system. Processing for these orders may take from three to seven days to complete. During peak times, or for especially old records, this may take upwards of two weeks to complete.

There is no service fee if you are ordering no more than 5 transcripts in a long semester.

Download and complete the Transcript Request form. Include a visible copy of your photo ID. 

If emailing the request, send to transcripts@lamar.edu, make sure to include the following information:

• Full name
• Student identification number
• Date of birth
• Approximate dates you attended
• Where you would like the transcript mailed
• Your signature
• Copy of your photo identification

If someone other than the student will be picking up the transcript, their name needs to be included on the transcript request. They will need to present their photo ID at the time of pick-up.

Unofficial transcripts are free. They are given in person in room 112 of the Wimberly building and photo identification is required. Unofficial transcripts will not be faxed.

Student records maintained by 91ÖÆƬ³§ are published in compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) as amended (PL93-380).

"Students who are suspended or expelled for non-academic reasons will be ineligible to re-enroll at 91ÖÆƬ³§. Until this status changes, these students will have a note on their transcript indicating, “student is ineligible to re-enroll". Texas Education Code § 51.9364.

Definitions:

The following are defined as such:

Suspension – Separation from the university for a definite term during which the student shall not be permitted to earn university credit at 91ÖÆƬ³§, be on the university owned property, participate in any university activity, or use any university service.

Expulsion – Permanent separation from the university. A student who has been suspended or expelled from any Texas State University System institution shall be ineligible to enroll at any other system institution during the period of suspension or expulsion. In addition to 91ÖÆƬ³§, the Texas State University System includes Texas State University, Lamar State College - Port Arthur, Lamar State College-Orange, Lamar Institute of Technology, Sam Houston State University, Sul Ross State University, and Sul Ross State University Rio Grande College.
